The Tunisian British Chamber of Commerce (TBCC), in collaboration with Novation City hosted an online masterclass for start-ups and companies looking to expand into the United Kingdom.
The session responded to a clear trend: Tunisian and African start-ups are showing growing interest in the UK market, and many are asking how to approach it.
Built on the momentum of London Tech Week:
The masterclass followed the success of the Tunisian Pavilion Tech Ecosystem at London Tech Week in 2025 and 2026. The event has become the UK’s leading tech gathering, bringing together more than 35,000 attendees and over 5,650 start-ups, and it is widely recognized as the gateway to the UK tech ecosystem.
For Tunisian entrepreneurs, that visibility has opened real doors. The masterclass was designed to help them walk through those doors prepared, whether they are considering their first steps abroad or planning a more structured market entry.

Rather than a conventional presentation, the session was set up as a practical conversation with two experts from the UK market:

They shared first-hand experience and best practices for successfully approaching the UK, giving participants an insider’s view of what expansion involves in practice.
This format allowed founders and company representatives to move beyond general advice and engage with the realities of entering a new market: what to prepare, what to expect, and how to position themselves in front of UK partners, customers, and investors.
The masterclass was aimed at start-ups and established companies with UK expansion in mind, especially those from Tunisia and across Africa seeking to benefit from the connections and visibility created by London Tech Week and the wider UK tech ecosystem.
